Mariah Carey, Queen of Pop?

Mariah Carey's "Don't Forget About Us" tops Billboard Magazine's Top 100 for the week ending December 31, 2005. Why might this be at all significant? Well, its her 17th number one hit and she now is tied with Elvis Presley in spot number two on the all-time most number one hits list (trailing on the Beatles, who had 20). I must admit, its a surprise that she has had that many hits and was able to come back from the mess she was (i.e., Glitter) just a few years ago. So is she the Queen of Pop?
